BMW Group Werk Landshut 

In the BMW Group Plant you will get an exciting look behind the scenes of automobile manufacturing. 

Approximately 7,700 employees from over 50 countries work at this site, 850 being trainees. As a part of the BMW Group’s worldwide production network, the BMW Group Landshut Plant builds more than 950 cars and more than 3,000 engines a day. 

As representative of all of the BMW Group’s international production facilities, the BMW Group Landshut Plant offers guests a direct insight into state-of-the-art automobile manufacture. The tour through BMW’s original plant offers an exciting insight into all areas of automobile production. The experts guiding the tour naturally focus on the guests’ specific requests and questions. In its concept and route, the BMW Group plant tour follows specific content-related criteria, giving guests access to all automobile production technologies at BMW Group Plant Landshut: light metal foundry, CFRP, cockpit and equipment, plastics exterior, electric drives and special engines. The tour takes approx. 2.5 hours.

The site visit costs just €69* and includes entrance to the tour, travel to/from the site as well as lunch and refreshments.

*Please note that in order to attend the site visit, you must have booked onto the 2-day GOCarbonFibre conference and if you book to attend the site visit, you will be unable to attend the workshop. Places are limited so we advise booking as early as possible to avoid missing out. BMW reserves the right to cancel the tour due to operative reasons - a full refund will be provided if this occurs.
