For the first time in its 19 years, GOCarbonFibre has three events planned for 2015, allowing for even greater participation from, and benefit for, a global industry that retains distinct regional characteristics.

In 2015, strategic partnerships with Harper International in the USA as well as the National Composites Certification and Evaluation Facility at the University of Manchester and Cygnet Texkimp in the UK will help deliver a more comprehensive and value added experience for attendees at the GOCarbonFibre conferences. Building on almost two decades experience, GOCarbonFibre will once again bring together experts from across the composites supply chain including chemical suppliers, carbon fibre manufacturers and converters, composites designers and producers and end-users from automotive, aerospace, energy and more.

Worldwide, carbon fibre stands on the verge of profound change, with the potential for exponential growth and expansion as manufacturing technology addresses volume production challenges for composite structures. GOCarbonFibre offer the best international fora for industry-leaders, new entrants and academics to contribute to the discussion and foster their own understanding of how this revolution can happen.

This market-leading conference series will provide stimulating networking opportunities and distinguished keynote speakers, showcasing high-calibre intellectual content. In addition, this year GOCarbonFibre offers insightful site visits to Harper International for a tour of their cutting-edge research and development MicroLine™ in Buffalo, N.Y., U.S.A., as well as to OEM Automotive and Aerospace facilities in the UK.

Throughout, these events will tackle the biggest issues in carbon fibre today. Such as:

  • What are the most influential factors currently shaping global and regional markets?
  • Who are set to be the dominant industry players of the future?
  • How can new manufacturing developments be best-utilised by all in the composites industry?
  • When will carbon fibre components break out into mass-market automotive vehicles?
  • Where are the biggest opportunities in the field of carbon fibre recycling and reuse?
