Standardisation - is it time to create a standard for carbon fibre?

With the carbon fibre market forecast to grow at 12% to 2021 to reach around 123,000 tonnes of production, and as one of the most complex industries, the question now being asked is - is it time to create a standard for carbon fibre?

At this year's GOCarbonFibre, a panel of experts will discuss whether the time has now come for the industry to work together to create a standard for carbon fibre and if so, what effect this will have. Will it reduce costs, improve efficiency and therefore lead to better decision making?

With companies on both side of the argument, the panel discussion will provide an open environment for both delegates and panellists alike to offer their opinions and comments on this key and evermore important subject in a healthy and constructive environment.

Panellists include:

  • Greg Lipoczi, Key Account Manager at STRUCTeam
  • Balazs Zsigmond, Consultant
  • Derek Buckmaster, Director at Carbon Nexus
  • Dan Pichler, CEO at CarbConsult
